met her and her ever moving big mouth today on the way to the TKGS bus stop because the 33 bus stop was crowded and junying pulled me to go home from there.
i was happily plodding along the busy road, wondering what would happen if some deranged dude just suddenly ran out to the road and flashed, shouting charming things like, "whaddya think of THAT?! BIGGER THAN BLOODY YOURS EH?!!"
until, i saw a girl clad in a green pinafore walking in my direction.
i stared at her.
she stared at me.
and as our paths intersected, she suddenly turned on me and screamed, "JACLYN?!"
wtf.
i'd never been so terrified in my whole life to hear my name being pronounced by that voice.
brings a whole new meaning to the phrase, "sent chills down my spine" eh?
i turned in horror to face wang min, alarm bells going off in my head.

horror...oh, the horror.

then we stopped dead in our tracks and we exchanged the usual pleasantries...the Haig Girls' school times way...
minus 99.9% of the violence now though.
sigh.
and as we chatted animatedly and walked back the way she had come from, i realised that people like mengli were what made memories in primary school unforgettable.
i remember the time i got so angry with her, i grabbed her neck by the collar and almost clobbered her right in front of everybody.
(wang min tried to remind her of that time, but thankfully, she forgot and i acted blur. phew. screw wang min!)
i also remember the countless times she used to pull out my rubberband and she would run away screaming with it while i raced after her all over the school compound.
i also remember the time i became so cheena and started liking boyband 5566. she would bring me to those shops created by fanclubs selling those cheena merchandise. some even as afar as far east.
haha. durh.
otherwise, why would the place be called FAR east?
HAHAHA!
ok jokes over.

then i cracked jokes at wang min's expense, saying that mengli used to try to push her into the longkang on their way home.
mengli laughed.
we made fun of wang min.
then wang min tried to retaliate back by bringing up the punch mengli incident, which she FORGOT.
HA! =D

anyway, i found out that mengli also takes literature! =D

shes currently now at act one scene dont know what, while i'm eons ahead of her at act two scene three.
HAHAHAH! SLOWPOKE!
i was actually quite shocked when she told me she was taking lit.
appalled.
flabbergasted.
stunned.
and all those other adjectives which have the same meaning or worse than "shocked".

anyway, she then started dissing TK boys.
talking mainly thrash about their singing habits on the bus and their over inflated egos.
actually, the over inflated egos part was quite true.
(exhibit A: Paul Ryan Ignatius. the prattiest guy i've ever met up to date.)
but anyway, anything else besides that ego part, it was all thrash.
hahaha.

then we talked so much until my head became numb from vanessa and junying's incessant threats to leave without me and the mindless chatter which came in the form of mengli's voice.
i started to answer her questions on auto pilot and my mind wandered off.
haha.
laughed weakly at the jokes she tried to bloody crack (the laugh came out more like the sound an athsmatic donkey would make) and finally when i saw that vanessa looked like as if she was ready to explode (constant pacing and nudging for me to go home), i quickly bid farewell to mengli and watched as she and wang min walked home together.
i noticed that wang min kept looking back at us, the look of benign pity etched across her face.
hahahahaha!!
then my bus came.
the end.

anyway, i realized that when i talked to mengli, i didnt stammer as much as when i conversed with the people from TK.
no offence, but...
i dont know.
its probably because i feel really really REALLY comfortable around people who came from my primary or people with whom i spend alot of time with.
classic example.
i talk to vanessa.
then i talk to...say, maybe most of the people in 3F.
you will notice that i really tend to stammer alot when i talk to the people in 3F than the occasional stammer with vanessa.
even less when i'm talking cock with wang min about shahnaz and the horrors of mengli.

its a really a matter of who i am more comfortable with.
people who are in my comfort zone.
people whom i find i can really click with and relate to instantly.
and you know what?
i'm really quiet in class now.
"WHAT?! JACLYN?! QUIET?! NEVERRRRR!!!"
yeah, its true.
just ask kiara. she knows how i can be really like in class - crazy.
considering the period of time she was my lab partner and class partner.
omg, we drove miss ong to her retirement.
hahahaha!! WOO HOO!
why am i quiet?
well...
i stammer when i talk because i'm not comfortable.
i stammer alot.
people dont laugh at the jokes i crack because i stammer.
i give up talking altogether.
i lapse into silence.
i blend into the background.
i become the class wallflower.

wtf.
thats why i say i sure as hell miss TK 2F '05.
ALOT.
and that probably more or less explained why i was so miserable at the beginning of this year.
but now things are better than how they used to be.
because i learned not to talk and embarress myself.
(in other words, not to be too lame. because i realized that it totally pisses off the people in my class. uptight bunch of people, arent we?)
except when it comes to vanessa and pals. =D

so, i reinstrate my stand again that i sure as hell miss, really really miss TK 2F '05.
and, how i am in class...
that definitely aint the real me - crazy.
